Dear John,

I’m going to be in New York three weeks from now for Atlas Network’s Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner, and I’d like to share why you should consider joining me.

If you don’t need any convincing, you can get your tickets right here and right now: https://events.atlasnetwork.org/LFFD2023

The famous economist Milton Friedman, who was a longtime supporter of Atlas Network before his passing, was known for saying that the problems created by government overreach couldn’t be solved just by electing the right people. He said:

“Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or if they try, they will shortly be out of office.”

Every year, we convene Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner to strengthen the work of intellectual entrepreneurs who are solving this problem on every inhabited continent. We train, support, and connect freedom’s champions so they can do an even better job building independent organizations with local solutions that move opinion toward individual rights and economic choice.

And because our mission at Atlas Network is global in scope, it might be easy to forget that a huge number of the organizations we partner with are based right here in the United States.

From the Pacific Legal Foundation based in California, to the Cardinal Institute in West Virginia, and every state in between, there are American Atlas Network partners of all sizes, with many different pro-freedom missions. They’re all working to help places in the United States set a powerful example of how people can flourish when governments know their top job is to secure economic and personal liberties.

When you look at the news, it can often feel like that message isn’t sinking in—with either the right people or the wrong people. In any given year, but especially in election season, people who truly want to make a difference can be easily distracted by the latest controversies surrounding whoever is President right now.

But at Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner, there’s no shortage of insight to help you better understand what’s really going on in the big picture, and inspiration to know the fight for freedom is far from over. As part of our speaker lineup, Atlas Network’s Matt Warner will interview two very impressive presidents who will be Forecasting America’s Future when it comes to key issues such as debt, inflation, polarization, and competitiveness.

Mind you, I’m talking about the president and CEO of the Cato Institute, Peter Goettler, and the president of the American Enterprise Institute, Robert Doar. To the more than 500 Atlas Network partner organizations in more than 100 countries, these two think tanks represent the excellence they aim for with their organizations in their own communities.

You can check out this program and the whole agenda full of speakers, networking events, film screenings, competitions, receptions and more at Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner here: https://events.atlasnetwork.org/LFFD2023

If you join me in New York next month, you will not only get first-hand knowledge about what’s going on in the worldwide freedom movement that you can’t get anywhere else, but you will gain a stronger appreciation for the role you need to play to raise the bar for freedom in your own country.

Sadly, not every country in the world can serve as host to a conference like Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner. Especially if you’re an American like me, you’re going to leave New York with an even deeper commitment to keeping and strengthening the United States’ role as a symbol of hope for all of humanity.

I’d be thrilled to visit with you at Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner, so just write me back on this email if you want more information about the event, need help purchasing your tickets, or if you just want my recommendations for all the best nighttime activities we and our partners have planned!

All my best,

Kam Griffin
Associate Director of Development
Atlas Network

P.S. - If you can’t make this year’s Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner, the next best thing is to become a Liberty Forum or Freedom Dinner table sponsor so other promising champions for freedom can attend. Simply reply to this email and I can share how you or your organization can be recognized for your tax-deductible donation, which will support training, networking, and mentorship for Atlas Network partners from across the country and around the world.
