That’s a hard lesson you learn very early on as a Black woman in politics. I know I’m not going to win every single vote when I’m on the ballot – and that’s okay.

So even if I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, I’ll represent all of my constituents – Republicans, Democrats, Independents – with honor and integrity, because that’s what democracy is all about.

The problem is, national MAGA Republicans can’t stand anyone who dares to speak truth to power and hold them accountable for failing to lead. That’s why they have their sights on flipping Delaware and the Senate red.
