Join us and Funny Women for an afternoon of feminist debate and an evening of comedy in Manchester this Sunday to celebrate International Women's Day.

Hi Friend,

Getting excited for International Women's Day? So are we. In fact, we've got a busy weekend ahead so here's a round-up of what we're up to—we hope you'll join us.

Feminist Roadshow
We’ve listened, and for our main IWD event we’re moving outside of London to Manchester! We've teamed up with comedy collective, Funny Women, to bring you our Feminist Roadshow - an afternoon of debate and an evening of comedy this Sunday.

Date: Sunday 8 March
Venue: The Frog and Bucket, 102 Oldham Street, Manchester, M4 1LJ
Time: 1:30–5:30pm (daytime panel & workshop) | 7:00–9:00pm (comedy night

Join us in the afternoon as our CEO Sam Smethers launches our West Midlands Mayoral Manifesto ([link removed][UNIQID]) before being joined by local experts in women’s rights to discuss what Greater Manchester is doing for women, and what it can do to improve.

Next up, you can join in Funny Women’s ever-popular ‘Know Your Worth’ workshop to help you do exactly that. In this one-hour session, you'll have the opportunity to tell your own story, interpret body language, and become more confident and memorable.

After the daytime event there will be a break for you to grab a bite to eat before heading into the comedy night with Funny Women 2014 award winner, Jayde Adams, joined by finalists, Sian Davies MC, Celya ab, Jane Postlethwaite and Sarah Mann.

We hope to see you there! And please do pass on to friends who might be interested too!
