Patriot,

This is breaking information. We just received word from Senator Rand Paul's office that Audit the Fed could be voted on in the Senate as early as TODAY.

Senator Paul’s Audit the Fed bill – the same bill sponsored in the U.S. House for several years by our chairman, Ron Paul – will be offered as Amendment 1217 to an appropriations bill.

This is our chance to get a roll call vote on Audit the Fed in the Senate!

The last time we had a recorded vote on Audit the Fed in the Senate, the makeup of the Senate was very different.

WE NEED YOU TO CALL BOTH YOUR U.S. Senators RIGHT NOW, and ask them to vote YES on Amendment 1217 . . .

. . . and NO on the “minibus” appropriations bill.

Call your U.S. Senators right now at (202) 224-3121. This is the number for the switchboard – ask to be connected to one of your U.S. Senators, then call back for the other.

Here’s a simple script you can use, either leaving a voice mail or speaking to a staffer:

Hello, this is (your name) calling from (your city and state).

I’m calling to ask the Senator to vote YES on Amendment 1217 calling for an Audit of the Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve is out of control, inflation is sky-high, and NOBODY is bringing any accountability to the Fed for wrecking our financial system. Please vote YES on Amendment 1217.

The minibus bill itself spends too much money, so please vote NO on the budget bill as a whole. Our budget is out of control, and needs to be reined in. Please vote to REDUCE the federal budget and vote NO on any spending bills that don’t include serious cuts.

This is extremely time sensitive. Be sure you call both of your U.S. Senators RIGHT AWAY.

Thanks for all you do,

John McCardell
Executive Director, Campaign for Liberty

P.S. This is the first time in years Audit the Fed gets a roll call vote in the U.S. Senate – and it could be TODAY. Be sure you call your U.S. Senators IMMEDIATELY and tell them to support Amendment 1217!
