Pure Evil – Georgia Tax Dollars to Pay for Transgender Surgeries

You may have seen the news – your tax dollars and mine will now be used to pay for “gender reassignment” surgeries for public employees on the state’s healthcare plan.

 

This is pure evil – an abuse of our tax dollars and an abuse of these psychologically disturbed public employees who will have their mental illness treated with life altering surgery.

This decision was not the will of our elected officials or an act of the Georgia General Assembly. It stems from an insanely bad interpretation of statute made by the United States Supreme Court in the Bostock decision. That means every step forward we take runs the risk of legal challenges.

 

We will be undeterred. This is a fight that is too big to back down from simply because of a fear that we might lose. It’s imperative that we take a stand. Here’s how:

  1. Our team is currently working on a plan to partner with allied members of Congress to change Title VII back to its original intent – which would never have required taxpayer funding of delusional and harmful surgeries.

  2. As we have shared, we are building a legal team within Frontline. We plan to partner with and encourage our Attorney General and other allied attorneys in cases where we can pierce the evil of the Bostock decision.

  3. Right now, we are working on legislation that would make where our state stands abundantly clear – that such surgeries should never be funded with taxpayer dollars.

  4. In taking these steps, we are also engaging the Church Ambassador Network to speak to these issues, partner with legislators, and awaken the Body of Christ with the knowledge that it’s imperative that we elect biblical leaders who will take a stand against such wicked policies.
