18 Terror Watchlist Suspects Nabbed  Trying To Enter The U.S. Illegally

• U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents arrested 18 people on the FBI’s terror watchlist along the U.S.-Mexico border in September. Sydnie Henry has the story.
       
• This brought the total number of FBI terror watchlist suspects arrested along the southwest border in federal fiscal year 2023 to 169—more than the previous six years combined. 
   
• Meanwhile, the Daily Caller recently received an internal memo from the CBP San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division warning agents to be on the lookout for members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. All three groups have been designated as terrorist organizations.
       
• “I believe we are at a greater risk for a terrorist attack in the United States today, than we have been anytime since September 11th,” said U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz on his podcast. “And the Biden administration’s policies continue to make that more and more likely each and every day.” 

A.G. Ken Paxton Sues DHS for Cutting Down Wire Fencing at Border

• Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the Biden administration following reports that federal officials cut concertina wire placed by Texas to curb the flow of illegal aliens. Brandon Waltens reports that the wire cutting occurred near Eagle Pass, which has become a hotspot for illegal crossings.
      
• “Texas has the sovereign right to construct border barriers to prevent the entry of illegal aliens,” explained Paxton.

The Democrats' Hamas Problem

• A social media post from U.S. Rep Colin Allred (D-Dallas) has resurfaced, showing him welcoming to the U.S. House a radical agitator who is accusing the United States and Israel of committing genocide. Emily Medeiros has the details.
          

• Omar Suleiman is a professor at Texas’ Southern Methodist University and has recently shared a slew of pro-Palestine posts. He has falsely accused the United States and Israel of committing genocide.

        
• Allred, who is running for the U.S. Senate, has described Sulieman as representing “the best of North Texas.” 
      
• U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has called on Allred to denounce Suleiman's statements, but the Democrat has so far refused to do so.

Middleton Calls Out Texas Association of School Boards

• Republican State Sen. Mayes Middleton of Galveston is using social media to call out the Texas Association of School Boards for its updated legal guidance advising government schools to affirm gender confusion in minors.

       
• TASB is a statewide taxpayer-funded lobbying group for school officials that provides products and services to school districts.
       

• TASB has instructed schools to allow gender-confused students to use the restroom of the opposite sex, even if other students and their parents raise concerns. The organization has also advised public school employees to use a student’s “preferred name” at school, while using their legal name on official documents in case the parents disapprove of the student’s “gender identity.”
        

• “This document is Exhibit A why TASB should no longer get to train every school board in this state,” said Middleton.

Prosper ISD's Proposed Bonds Would Cost Taxpayers $5 Billion with Interest

• A $2.8 billion bond package put on the November ballot by Prosper Independent School District will cost local property taxpayers a whopping $5 billion with interest, if voters approve the lavish spending plans. As Erin Anderson reports, that includes a half-billion-dollar high school and the most expensive football stadium in Texas history.
       
• Prosper taxpayers are already on the hook for $2.6 billion in principal and interest for previously approved debt.
      

• With that much debt, prosperity will be fleeting in Prosper.
