Jack, Virginia Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin's PAC has raised millions in dark money from a few billionaires in hopes of flipping the handful of seats Republicans need to take complete control of the legislature.

He is using the money to run false ads claiming that Republicans are not trying to ban abortions and that Democrats want, without limitations, abortion until birth. These are downright lies. The fact is that Republican candidates across the state have made passing an abortion ban their central issue.

Virginia is the last state in the South that hasn't passed an abortion ban and Youngkin is itching to do so. However, Democrats control the state Senate and are the firewall against passing such a ban.

Flipping the Assembly blue and protecting the Democratic-controlled Senate is our last line of defense against an extreme right-wing governor.
