Our Democratic campaign fundraising from grassroots supporters tanked over the weekend, and we need to catch up quickly.

I'm humbly asking for your help right now, John. If you can afford it today, I need you to pitch in $10 or anything you can. My Democratic campaign CAN win here — we just need to fund our voter contact.

It might surprise you that it costs anywhere between $10 - $25 to effectively reach a voter with a message powerful enough to get them to vote. That adds up quickly.

So, our fundraising goals are designed to ensure that we reach enough voters to move the needle and push our Democratic campaign to victory.

Over the weekend, we fell $1,450 short of our goal. If we don't make it up immediately, we'll have to add it into next week's goal — it just compounds and snowballs from there.

As a Navy veteran and former Under Secretary of Defense for President Biden, I don't give up. Period. But I know when to ask for help when I need it. I know we can reach this amount if we work together. Please, can you pitch in $10 or more?
