Hi John, we’ll get right into it: We’re looking at our October fundraising goals and realized we have to reach out to ask our grassroots team if you can chip in any amount today.

Let us explain why.

It’s thanks to this powerful grassroots team that we are able to support Wes’s work fighting for every single Marylander. To do that, we need to hit every single fundraising goal that we set — and because of the fundraising freeze next quarter, our goals are pretty ambitious for this month.

We’re hoping to raise $8,000 from emails like this by midnight on the 31st.

If more supporters don’t step up soon, we might fall short. What we do right now determines what we can accomplish months in advance.

Wes is working tirelessly for all Maryland families to realize their potential in this great state, and we have to support his work on the campaign side year-round — even though we can’t fundraise for a large chunk of time.
