Folks, even as you read this email, chaos is unfolding in the Republican-led House. That’s why I’m reaching out to make sure you don’t miss what the Democratic Senate Majority has been up to lately.

Before I get into it, will you pitch in $5 or any amount toward my campaign’s end-of-month goal? It’s clear that Republicans aren’t fit to govern, and we need to bring in resources right now to keep them out of the Senate Majority.

While House Republicans stall progress to a halt, Senate Democrats are united around our shared priorities.

This month alone, I’ve introduced legislation to make it easier for homeowners to install renewable energy systems like rooftop solar panels, protect New Mexico’s Pecos Watershed from mining accidents, and help New Mexico rebuild from the Cerro Pelado Fire.

Folks are relying on the results this legislation would bring, yet Republicans would rather in-fight about who to elect Speaker than get to work for the communities they represent.

We can’t afford to let Republicans take back the Senate next year and stall our progress.

But holding our Senate Majority won't be easy. Mitch McConnell only needs to flip two of the 23 seats we're defending — including mine in New Mexico — to take the Senate. That number goes down to one if Republicans win the White House.

That’s why it’s so important we meet every single fundraising milestone to ensure we have the resources to carry out our plans. Will you play a pivotal role in keeping New Mexico and the Senate blue by pitching in toward our campaign’s end-of-month deadline today?

Thank you for being a part of our work to keep the Senate in Democratic hands.
