Team: Republicans’ recruitment efforts in Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate race are heating up according to a new NBC News report.
Right-wing megamillionaires Eric Hovde and Scott Mayer have both met with the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm as they get closer to jumping into the race to defeat Tammy.
According to the report, “National Republicans believe Hovde’s ability to make a personal investment in his campaign would immediately make Wisconsin one of the most competitive races in the country.”
Before Tammy’s self-funding opponents officially jump into this race, will you rush in a donation to help her defend this seat and our Senate majority?

"The last time a Republican candidate unseated a strong Democratic incumbent in the state was Ron Johnson, and it looks like they’re going to try to run his playbook again," one Democratic strategist told NBC News.
Republican candidates in Wisconsin are using the "Ron Johnson playbook" — announcing late in the race to avoid financial disclosure and spending millions of their personal wealth — to defeat Tammy and clinch the Senate for the GOP.
You heard it here: As soon as one of these self-funding opponents jumps into the race, Wisconsin will be one of the most competitive races in the nation.
That’s why we need your help to build up the resources NOW to defend this seat and strengthen Tammy’s campaign operation before GOP dollars begin to flood Wisconsin.
With a potential megamillionaire Republican opponent looming, will you rush in a donation to help Tammy defend Wisconsin’s toss-up Senate seat? We’re counting on your support to keep this seat — and our Senate majority — blue.
