Hi John,
Karin here!
As Executive Director of the Colorado Democratic Party, I know Coloradans have some important decisions to make this November 7th.

One of those decisions will include whether to pass Prop HH. Without it, Colorado homeowners could see their property taxes go up by more than 40%.
Democrats are fighting to make sure that doesn’t happen. That’s why, this Thursday, we are hosting a virtual Prop HH information session with State Senate President Steve Fenberg so you can be equipped with all the facts you need to vote.
Join Senator Fenberg this Thursday at 5:30PM. RSVP here >> [[link removed]]
Hope to see you there,
Karin Asensio

Subject: Vote YES on Prop HH

Howdy John,
Did you know that unless we take action by voting yes on HH this fall, Colorado homeowners can expect a record increase in their property taxes? That’s right – 40% increases on average across the state T he impact on housing costs for owners, renters, and on our overall economy would be devastating.
That’s why Governor Polis and Democratic lawmakers referred Proposition HH to the ballot to avoid this crisis. If passed, HH will reduce property taxes for everyone while protecting vital investments for schools, libraries, fire districts and other essential public services. Proposition HH would also provide targeted relief for seniors and low-income families, helping more people stay in their homes.
Some of the life-changing benefits if Prop HH passes this November:
✅ Up to $1.6 billion in property tax relief annually, saving money for working families, small businesses and seniors across our state. In fact, the average homeowner will save more than $1000 over the next two years.
✅ Up to $2,122 in savings over the next 2 years for seniors who previously lost their Senior Homestead Exemption but would become re-eligible with Prop HH.
✅ Tax-paying Coloradans would get more than $800 in their next TABOR refund. That means a vast majority of Coloradans will see an increase in their refund.
✅ $20 million in annual rental assistance to help offset rent increases as a result of increased property taxes.
✅Increased funding for Colorado schools.
These cost-saving benefits, however, are far from secure. That’s why the Colorado Democratic Party, alongside a long slate of leaders and organizations like Governor Jared Polis, Congressman Joe Neguse, the Denver Post, the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, the AARP, the League of Women Voters, the Colorado AFL-CIO, the American Federation of Teachers, among so many others, are supporting Proposition HH.
