As we work hard to take back the Senate in November, it's so incredible that so many strong, Midwestern, Democratic women are on the frontlines fighting to build a Democratic majority.

I'm supporting Democratic candidates Barbara Bollier in Kansas and Theresa Greenfield in Kansas, along with my colleague Tina Smith from Minnesota, because these Midwestern moms have what it takes to get this job done. But they need all of us standing with them in the fight.

The Midwest is going to be a top target for the GOP this November.

President Trump only lost Minnesota by less than 2 points in 2016 -- and he's already pledged to spend millions to turn the state red in 2020. That's why we need to rally together to keep it in the Democratic column -- and make sure we re-elect my friend Tina Smith to the Senate.

We also need to win in Kansas -- a former Republican stronghold that has recently been at the center of the backlash to President Trump's divisive policies. Senior GOP officials admitted to CNN that this will be a tough race for them in November -- and Democrat Barbara Bollier poses the biggest risk to Mitch McConnell and the Republicans holding on to their Senate majority.

And in Iowa, Democrats just flipped half of the state's congressional seats in 2018. In 2020, the path to a Democratic majority in the Senate runs straight through this state. Mitch McConnell is already spending millions to protect his Republican incumbent -- but if we stand together, we can help Democrat Theresa Greenfield, a fighter for Iowans and all Americans, win big.
