Dear John,

The House of Representatives is in disarray, with three weeks wasted on internal chaos, I am stuck in DC waiting on a vote, instead of serving my constituents. 

I know that here in CT05, we value compromise and bipartisanship, and I’m extending those values to my colleagues across the aisle. 

We need a Speaker who can secure the Farm Bill, national security, and government funding while supporting hungry children and addressing global security. 

It's time for action. We cannot afford further paralysis. Democrats have rallied behind Hakeem Jeffries for a bipartisan path forward because the choice is clear: We must set aside partisan divisions, prioritize the needs of the American people, and work together to move forward.
