John, I want to make one thing crystal clear: this campaign is about you, not me.

I firmly believe we have a historic opportunity to pave the way for a better future for all. A future where young people can thrive, dream big and make a positive impact without being saddled with the issues that have haunted working families for generations. 

Because the challenges we face today – the worsening climate crisis, inequitable access to health care, the war on reproductive freedom, the astronomical cost of education and systemic injustices – aren't just abstract concepts. These are real barriers that working people face day in and day out. As progressives, it is our duty to do what we can to knock those barriers down.

And that's exactly why I made the decision to run for Senate.

After years spent in the House of Representatives fighting for the solutions that working Americans deserve, I knew the next step to securing the progress we need was to bring my unwavering fight to the Senate.

And now, I'm asking for you to commit to fighting for progress with me, John. I'm asking you to commit to our shared vision of a more equitable, sustainable and just world for all – because we deserve as much.
