Illinois Democrats have a history of being anti-school choice while sending their children to charter or private schools.
Sean Denney, the Director of Government Relations for the Illinois Education Association (IEA), and Stacy Davis-Gates, the Chicago Teachers Union President all chose not to enroll their children in public schools but denied the same opportunities for low-income students.
Why is that fair?
We don’t think it is fair to the students who don’t have elite connections that they don’t get the same opportunity. Hypocritical democrats don’t want those choices available to all students, but WE DO!
