COWS Releases New Report on
Raising Wisconsin's Minimum Wage
For 15 years, Wisconsin’s minimum wage has been stuck at the federal minimum level of $7.25, which has not been raised since 2009. As the cost of living continues to rise, this standard is becoming less relevant as a labor market floor and has no credibility as a living wage.
Can't Survive on $7.25: Higher Minimum Wages for Working Wisconsin ([link removed]) offers a picture of who wins in Wisconsin with a higher minimum wage and some reasons to support an increased minimum wage and higher labor standards for the state. Click here ([link removed]) to read more.
