IPA will soon be launching Best Bets: Emerging Opportunities for Impact at Scale. The report showcases fourteen innovations that IPA’s sector experts and scientific advisors believe hold the most promise for making an impact at scale, but for which key questions still need to be answered.

As part of the Best Bets launch, we are pleased to invite you to the IPA Best Bets Webinar focused on Entrepreneurial Mindset and Soft Skills Training Programs, to be held online on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Following a brief introduction to IPA’s Best Bets, the event will feature presentations by David McKenzie, Lead Economist at the World Bank's Development Research Group and expert in enterprise development; Dr. Michael Frese, co-creator of the Personal Initiative (PI) Training program for businesses; and Doorways, an organization adapting PI training across languages and contexts. They along with other panelists will discuss the current evidence surrounding entrepreneurial mindset and soft skills training as well as the challenges faced when implementing and scaling these interventions for businesses in low- and middle-income countries.
