John,
Americans are rising up, saying we will not be complicit in the genocide of Palestinians.
Since the horrific attack on Israeli civilians by Hamas and the unhinged collective punishment of Palestinians, Rashida has been steadfast in demanding the U.S. and the world work to save as many lives as possible, no matter their faith or ethnicity.
Last week, Rashida spoke at a rally in Washington DC organized by Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, and an interfaith prayer vigil and rally to hold the political establishment accountable for continuing the drumbeat of war that will lead to more lives lost, especially children in Palestine.
At the rally, Rashida reminded us that we must not lose our shared humanity. The cries of the mother in Gaza who lost all of her children in the unrelenting bombing by the Israeli government are the same cries of Maya's father who listened to his daughter being attacked by Hamas not knowing if she is alive.
Rashida’s voice is needed. More lives will be lost. The use of white phosphorus is melting children's faces in Gaza, whole neighborhoods have been destroyed, generations of families wiped out, and the Israeli military is saying that they are just getting started.
As the only Palestinian American member of Congress, Rashida’s voice and lived experience is more critical now than ever. But in response to her leadership in calling for a ceasefire and an end to the genocide unfolding against millions of people trapped in Gaza, Rashida has been under relentless attack.
Far-right Republicans have introduced multiple censure resolutions seeking to silence Rashida. Even members of her own party are policing her words and continue to dehumanize Palestinians.
We need to keep Rashida in Congress fighting for the rights of all marginalized people.
Donate today to have Rashida’s back as she demands a ceasefire and works to protect everyone in the region, no matter their faith or ethnicity.

Our movement demanding the human rights of Palestinians―and of all people―is growing. Together, let’s support Rashida’s leadership as she grieves the lives lost and works to save countless civilian lives, even as others in Congress continue the drumbeat of war.
Thank you for having Rashida’s back.

P.S. Now there are 18 morally courageous members of Congress who have co-sponsored our Ceasefire Now Resolution, which calls for humanitarian aid to Gaza and an immediate ceasefire. Please have their backs and show your support by signing on today as a grassroots co-sponsor of the Ceasefire Now Resolution.
