Alexander’s story illustrates the power of VoteRiders’ partnerships. We work with local DMVs to get people the identification they need to vote, find housing, apply for jobs, access medical care, and more. We partner with Uber to provide eligible voters with free rides to and from ID-issuing offices. We work with employment-focused organizations, get-out-the-vote groups, law firms, churches, schools, healthcare providers, libraries, athletic organizations, direct service providers, corporations, and more.
It’s urgent work that helps people access housing, employment, and other services, and allows them to vote in states with voter ID laws.
You can help, too. We always cover the fees needed to get IDs or documents because we don’t believe money should ever be a barrier to getting the ID needed to vote. Make your donation today and you’ll help us reach more voters and provide them with the free help they need during what is often a long and complicated process.
Thanks for strengthening our democracy,
