Friend, I have two amazing kids, and I’ve devoted my career to working with children.

For three decades, I’ve worked to make sure kids in the Las Vegas area had their basic needs met, and that they could count on a quality education and a caring, supportive community to help them succeed.

I founded an organization to provide after-school programs for at-risk children to keep them on track for a bright future, and I led an organization working to make sure kids finished school.

In Congress, I’ve been on the front lines of the fight to provide parents with the support and security they need to raise happy, healthy kids.

I did all of that because I believe kids are our greatest treasure. Raising children is, without a doubt, one of the most difficult jobs most of us will ever do, and it’s often the most rewarding.

But I believe that forcing anyone into that job is an unacceptable violation of the rights and freedoms we hold dear.

I will never stop fighting to make sure that the deeply personal decision to have children remains in the hands of women and out of the hands of the ruthless, anti-choice crusaders — who, I might add — vote to strip away support for children and families at every possible opportunity.

The GOP House majority has an ultimate goal to enact a nationwide abortion ban.

In fact, it’s a major reason the NRCC is targeting NV-03 so aggressively: to install yet another anti-choice rubber stamp in my place.
