An excerpt from an article in Axios yesterday:

These are the moments where Americans of both parties must come together to do the right thing to keep our country safe and avert conflict around the globe. To keep the women and men of our Military out of danger. To save lives.

Democrats are ready. President Biden and his administration have been working around the clock. But at a time of “epic concern and historic danger,” where are the GOP?

In the House, completely AWOL.

In the Senate, the GOP has completely frozen the senior leadership of our Military. Yes — the entire GOP. Tuberville’s holds are the issue, but not one Republican has taken a vocal and public stand to get him out of the way. McConnell and Senate GOP leadership are complicit, just as guilty as Tuberville.

If we can’t trust the GOP at a time like this, when can we trust them?

This is why we do the work we do. This is why taking back the House in 2024 is so important. It is why we must hold the Senate GOP accountable, why we have to expand our control in that chamber.
