Dear John,
Republicans had a historic opportunity to elect Jim Jordan as House Speaker, and we blew it. Electing Speaker Jordan would have been one of the greatest accomplishments of the conservative movement in the last 40 years.
Few people have worked harder or longer for the conservative values that we hold dear than Jim Jordan.
Unfortunately, twenty so-called “moderate” Republicans voted against Jim Jordan for Speaker on the floor of the U.S. House. These Republicans were angry that Jordan opposed business-as-usual wasteful spending and go-along-to get-along backroom deals with Democrats.
I am proud to call Jim Jordan a friend and to have his endorsement in my run for US Senate.
My opponents in Congress are not just the Democrats, it's also liberal Republicans who constantly sell us out and lack the backbone to do what is right.
For U.S. Senate, Republicans can elect a fighter like me who stands with conservatives like Jim Jordan or they can choose my RINO opponent Jim Justice who only recently switched parties to become a Republican. Jim Justice doesn’t even know what it means to be a Republican — he endorsed Joe Biden’s multi-trillion spending spree and called for banning sporting rifles for law-abiding adults.
If we want real conservative change in Washington, D.C., we need to elect true conservatives. Not RINOS.
