It's been three weeks, John.

Three weeks since House Republicans fired Kevin McCarthy (all because he worked with Democrats to keep the government open!), and they still can't agree on a House speaker.

I've never seen petty bickering at the level House Republicans are engaging in right now -- and I worked at a middle school!

If you're as tired of their chaotic ineptitude as I am, sign your name next to mine to tell Republicans to elect a new speaker.

Americans are rightfully shaking their heads at this clown show. It's embarrassing!

But the GOP's chaos isn't just a bad look. It's also derailing our democracy and the world. It means we can't tackle the inequality that grips our communities. We can't deal with the devastating crises in Israel and Gaza, or Ukraine. We can't even fund the government if they don't sort this out soon.

I came to Congress to fight for working people -- not watch a bunch of grown adults fight over who should be their leader. But Congress can't do anything until House Republicans elect a speaker.
