In my 23 years in this city, I've had the privilege to learn from some outstanding leaders – including two San Francisco mayors, Willie Brown and Gavin Newsom.

I'm grateful to Mayors Brown and Newsom for the opportunities they gave me early in my career. They entrusted me to deliver critical resources and services to people in San Francisco, especially our low-income communities.

With Mayor Brown, I helped protect immigrants from losing their homes and brought vital resources – like a new teen center and new child care facility – to San Francisco's public housing communities.

Then, alongside Mayor Newsom, I helped connect young adults, formerly incarcerated individuals, and homeless people to good jobs that support local small businesses by keeping our streets clean and green.

I'm a city planner by trade, so I loved the work. It taught me how to take feedback from residents, partner with stakeholders, and make a city work better.

Getting San Francisco back on track is a big project – and I'll be ready for it on day one. But to defeat Mayor Breed and the billionaire in the race, we need resources. Will you contribute right now?
