Supreme Court Hears Arguments Over Louisiana Abortion Law
The subject of abortion was front and center at the United States Supreme Court this morning as the nine justices heard arguments concerning a highly anticipated case titled June Medical Services v. Russo.
The Louisiana legislature found evidence that the abortion industry hired unqualified and under-credentialed doctors to perform abortions. However, the pro-abortion lobby is challenging Louisiana’s common-sense law that requires abortionists to have hospital admitting privileges.
The case will likely be decided by the end of June.
