Abortion was on the docket at the Supreme Court today for one reason only: Right-wing special interests are counting on Trump’s illegitimate justices to help them gut Roe v. Wade.

Brett Kavanaugh, who was credibly accused of perjury and sexual assault, was confirmed through a rushed, sham process. Neil Gorsuch is in a stolen seat. Anti-choice advocates are counting on them to overrule precedent that’s not even four years old, shuttering all but one abortion clinic in Louisiana, and opening the door for states to shut down clinics across the country. That would make the ability to get an abortion dependent on where you live or whether you can afford to travel to a state without draconian laws.
