* *Summary:* As mentioned in a May 12, 2023, eList announcement, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will end the exception that allowed DHS to pay PCA provider agencies for services provided by spouses and parents (including stepparents and legal guardians) of minors.

Updates to EIDBI rights and responsibilities forms [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:*?EIDBI providers,?people with autism spectrum disorder or related conditions and their families and other interested parties
* *Effective date:*?Immediately
* *Summary:* DHS updated the EIDBI rights and responsibilities forms (DHS-7645A and DHS-7645B) to clarify requirements for all EIDBI agencies, comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation providers and qualified supervising professionals.

DHS plans to hold Waiver Reimagine focus groups [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Lead agencies
* *Summary:*?DHS will conduct a series of focus groups with people who receive waiver services in late October. These focus groups are part of Waiver Reimagine, DHS? ongoing work to improve Minnesota?s four disability waiver programs.

* *Audience:*?People who support adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, lead agencies, provider organizations, mental health service providers and other interested parties
* *Event dates:*?Oct. 25 and Nov. 15, 2023; Jan. 10, Feb. 7, March 13 and April 10, 2024
* *Summary:*?DHS and the University of Minnesota Institute on Community Integration invite you to register for Applying PBS, a virtual training series on the use of PBS as part of the continuum of positive support practices. The series will cover how to implement PBS in community settings to support the needs of people with developmental or intellectual disabilities at universal, targeted and intensive support tiers.
