The Conservative Mind laid out the rich intellectual and moral heritage of the United States. It quite literally gave conservatives a name and a genealogy. Particularly in this time of debate over the meaning of conservatism, it's important to return to our roots, and to remember the giants on whose shoulders we stand.
I'm looking forward to introducing you to several of this generation's brightest young leaders seeking to adapt the principles and wisdom Kirk delineated to their peers. We will also announce two exciting programs that the Kirk Center will be launching in the months to come.
Information about sponsorship levels and purchasing individual tickets ($50; $25 for students) can be found on our website. If your schedule doesn't permit you to join us in person but you'd still like to commemorate this milestone with your financial support, please contact Emily Corwin, Director of Events and Program Outreach, at [email protected], or you can make an online donation here.
Seventy years after its publication, The Conservative Mind continues to point our movement toward the permanent things and to encourage new generations to resist the ideologies of our age. Thank you for your support, and I hope to see you in Washington on Tuesday, December 5, for what promises to be an enjoyable evening.
Best regards,
