Peace Won’t Come Until Palestinians Accept ‘Plan A’ Doesn’t Exist
- Since the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948, some Muslim states have accepted the reality of Israel’s existence, to the great benefit of Arabs and Jews alike. But many Palestinians have clung resolutely to the fantasy of genocide.
- The horrific events of Oct. 7 demonstrate that Palestinians are no closer to accepting reality than they were the first time Israel was attacked in 1948. Now, the Jewish state’s task is to convince the Palestinians that there is no Plan A and they must look to Plan B, which is coexistence with the Jews.
- The United States can be a key actor in creating circumstances that could lead to peace, but not if our leadership continues to pay lip service to the Palestinian “cause.”
- Israel must defeat Hamas, and America must stand united with our great ally. The Biden administration must do everything possible to get missing Americans back and immediately end the policies that have appeased and emboldened Iran and other adversaries around the world.

Biden Admin Reports Over 3 Million Illegal Aliens on America’s Borders in Single Year
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported Saturday that agents encountered 3,201,144 illegal immigrants at or between ports of entry to the country between Oct. 1, 2022, and Sept. 30, 2023. That is the equivalent of 8,770 a day.
- September is yet another bleak milestone in U.S. history and the annals of governmental incompetence. Not only are ‘encounters’ by U.S. agents at the southern border the worst ever, but northern numbers are at unprecedented levels too.
- The horrific scenes in Israel are a harsh reminder of the urgent need to secure our own border. Nearly 170 suspected terrorists have tried to enter the country this year alone—another record-setting figure.
- The Biden administration has no interest in protecting our sovereignty and securing the border. Congress must act to keep Americans safe.

Home Prices: From American Dream to American Nightmare
- Biden administration policies are putting home ownership increasingly out of reach for Americans.
- The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta began maintaining a Home Ownership Affordability Monitor Index in 2006 because homes were so unaffordable at that time. The latest reading from that index, which has plunged 36 percent since President Joe Biden took office, is the lowest in its history and indicates record unaffordability.
- It now takes 44 percent of median income — before taxes — to afford a median-price home.
- The foundation for this problem was laid long before Biden became president. The Fed’s persistently artificially low interest rates have been causing asset bubbles for two decades, and its purchase of housing-related financial derivatives has further buoyed housing prices.
- But Biden’s continued overspending, excessive borrowing, and oppressive regulating — along with creating money to pay for it all — gave the problem a violent shove into overdrive.
