Friend, just hours after launching my campaign for U.S. Senate, I spoke with Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC to talk about why I’m running to defeat Sen. Rick Scott and flip Florida blue.

Rick Scott has failed us in Florida. He’s proposed tax increases on working families, advocated for a nationwide ban on abortions, and wrote the GOP plan to end Social Security and Medicare. He’s pushing our state backward – and we need to fight back.

But there’s good news: Experts at CNN, FiveThirtyEight, and Roll Call all agree that Florida is one of Democrats’ best opportunities to flip a Senate seat blue in 2024, and new polling shows this race is nearly TIED at 44% to 43%.
