Vox: “The Supreme Court will hear a case that could destroy Obamacare”

This is urgent -- Our health care is hanging in the balance. National Republicans are once again taking a sledgehammer to protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions.

The Affordable Care Act could be dismantled if we don’t mobilize Americans to protect our care. Will you add your name to our petition to defend the ACA? >>

Friends,

This year is the 10-year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act becoming law. But even after a decade of making health care more affordable and accessible for all Americans, Republicans are still trying to tear down this landmark legislation.

A new, multi-state challenge could spell the end of the ACA -- and the Supreme Court will begin arguments this session!

No legislation has done more to move us closer to universal health care coverage than the ACA. It insured more than 20 million Americans, prohibited insurance companies from discriminating against patients with pre-existing conditions, and helped drive down health care costs for seniors, children, and our most vulnerable.

And while we still have a long way to go in fixing our health care system, dismantling the ACA without any alternative in place is both reckless and dangerous for the millions who rely on their current insurance plan to get the care they need.

Please, this moment is too important to sit out. Our health care could be completely jeopardized in a matter of months, so we need to stand up now to protect the ACA. Add your name to defend this critical legislation! >>

After 10 years of progress, we cannot go back to the days when insurance companies could deny health care to those who need it most.

Thank you for taking action,
