This was a great day — our campaign launch in Phoenix. We kicked this thing off 9 months ago today.

When I was making the decision to run for Senate, one reason stuck out more than all the others: To take back Arizona’s Senate seat from Kyrsten Sinema and replace her vote for the billionaires and the hedge fund managers with a vote for working families and the middle class.

I knew it was going to be an uphill battle, but that was reason enough for me. This state is my home, and it would be an honor to serve it.

But earlier this month, Kari Lake jumped in the race. One of the most dangerous politicians in the country. A direct threat to our democracy.

I’m still running to take back Sinema’s seat, to be clear. But the stakes are higher now.

The Marine in me will always fight for our democracy. I was ready to fight for it on January 6th at the Capitol. And with Kari in this race, I’m ready to fight for it again.

But I won’t lie to you: I’m feeling the pressure right now. We’re coming up on our end-of-month deadline fast. And with everything that has happened this month, I could really use your help.

Can you contribute $ASK to our campaign today? We need a ton of people to add their donations, because that’s the only way we’ll hold the Senate. That’s the only way we’ll defend it from Kari Lake.

There’s an old motto in the Marines: “First to Fight.” I’m not going to back down, FIRST. You can trust me on that.

Semper Fi,

Ruben
