Commerce seeks input on GMA draft climate element planning guidance

The Washington Department of Commerce is seeking public comments on the?draft intermediate climate planning guidance (PDF)?to assist communities in developing a comprehensive plan climate element as required under the state Growth Management Act (GMA).

We hosted two workshops in the past two months on climate requirements for periodic updates under the GMA, and have published? the ?intermediate? guidance as required under HB 1181 (2023).
