In fact, over the course of all 18 floor votes in 2023, Hakeem Jeffries is hundreds of votes ahead of anyone else. He had the most votes in 14 of the 18 floor votes this year, earning more votes than Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan combined.

“But, Hank,” you might say. “You’re comparing apples to oranges because Republicans nominated lots of different candidates and Democrats only nominated Hakeem Jeffries.”

That’s exactly the point. Democrats are united behind a common vision of putting People Over Politics. Republicans are too busy with partisan infighting to deliver results to anyone. They can’t even keep Congress open.

The American people gave Republicans the keys to the House of Representatives, and Republicans immediately drove it into a brick wall.
