If you?ve been a public employee for a few years now, you?ve probably been contributing to a DCP account and may have quite a balance saved up.
You can now convert some or all of your DCP pretax funds to the Roth option.*
Join us this Wednesday, Oct. 25, for a live Q&A about DCP Roth conversions. This special session is for anyone with a DCP balance.
?
*Any money you convert before the end of the year will be counted towards your 2023 income. You?ll be responsible for paying any taxes due when you file your taxes next year.
If your employer doesn't offer Washington?s DCP, ask them about other available retirement savings programs.
