Friend,

Among all of the drastic, radical policies of Joe Biden and the leftist Democrats on Capitol Hill is the Biden Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) overzealous new goal of forcing two-thirds of cars on America’s roads to be electric vehicles (EV) by the end of the decade. 

Friend, it’s fine if consumers wish to purchase EVs, but disincentivizing the use of gasoline powered vehicles is just another huge burden for Americans -- particularly our hard-working families. 

Due to the disastrous effects of  “Bidenomics” and the purposely undermined domestic energy production, Americans already face higher prices at the gas pump and grocery store, but they’re also paying more than their fair share for roads and transportation infrastructure maintenance as well. 

That’s because the owners of EVs -- which can weigh three times as much as conventional vehicles and cause greater wear and tear on road surfaces -- are exempted from taxes at sale and during charging, while gasoline vehicle users pick up the extra expense. 

This is simply unfair.

That’s why I introduced the Stop EV Freeloading Act in the U.S. Senate, Friend -- to ensure that ALL vehicle operators on our roads must support their maintenance -- not just those who have the resources to buy and drive expensive so-called “green,” Democrat-pushed EVs. 

Of course, we can’t expect Senate Democrats to do the right thing for our citizens and economy by supporting the Act -- showing once again just how important it is that we defeat them and capture a new Republican Majority in the rapidly approaching 2024 Elections. 

That means not only beating vulnerable Democrats -- but holding the line in Republican races, too -- races like my own 2024 battle here in Nebraska.
