It’s no secret that California faces a housing crisis, especially when it
comes to building affordable housing for working and lower-income
families.
Rob just partnered with Gov. Gavin Newsom to tackle this issue in the city
of Coronado, which The Los Angeles Times said “might be California’s
biggest violator of affordable housing law.”
The AG and Governor reached an agreement with the city to ensure Coronado
complies with our state’s Housing Element Law by coming up with a plan by
April 2024 to construct 912 housing units.
With Rob’s leadership, our state government is willing and able to help
every community in California build its fair share of housing for people
of all income levels who call our state home.

housing for all, and Rob is committed to keeping up this fight statewide.
