It's Andy, Executive Director of the Kansas Dems, and I've heard some frightening things this month.

Republicans are gearing up early for 2024, and they're heading straight for Kansas Democrats. They've been vocal about maintaining their supermajority and dominating at different levels of government, and they've been pulling all the strings to make it happen.

With a Republican supermajority and a 3-1 congressional advantage, we cannot afford to let them outdo us.

John, Republicans have taken every step to defeat us, and we've still made gains over the last few cycles. Now, we have the opportunity to do even more. Can you help us make sure we keep our representation and continue to grow our hold with a contribution today?

It's no secret that Republicans have a head start in Kansas. 

First: They held onto their Supermajority in the State House and Senate, which skews legislative decisions in Kansas.

Then: In the 2022 redistricting, they gerrymandered districts to discourage Democratic wins like the ones they saw in 2018 and 2020.

Now: They've announced their frontrunners to try to replace Kansas's only Democratic Congressional Representative, Sharice Davids!

Republicans have made their plans to defeat Democrats abundantly clear, and they have the support of huge financial donors to make it happen.

If we're going to continue making gains like we have this past cycle, we're going to need to form a strong coalition of grassroots donors early.

John, we are facing an uphill battle with the Republicans' strong grip on legislative affairs in Kansas, BUT that doesn't mean the fight is hopeless. We've been able to flip and hold several state districts in the face of it all! Will you help us continue to empower Democrats across Kansas?
