Knock, knock… trick or treat!

With Halloween right around the corner, we wanted to warn you of some spooky and scary political tactics so that you can avoid being tricked because some candidates will say or do anything to get elected.

GHOSTS ROAM CD 30: Democratic Party delegates met this weekend and decided that the Party will not endorse in this race. That was the right call. Why? One of Anthony’s opponents added more skeletons to the closet, abusing the delegate process by trying to “stack the deck” against our local Democratic party activists. The candidate had out-of-district elected officials appoint delegates into our district. Many of you will remember that DPSFV led the charge to change this frowned upon tactic. Although these ghost delegates haunted the entire process by voting, the spooky plan failed. Thank you to all the party delegates that joined Anthony in voting “no endorsement” this past weekend.

ZOMBIE PUSH POLLS: That same opponent is now trying to revive their campaign by circulating false and misleading polling data, showing them in the lead. Don’t get bitten by these false numbers. The poll lied to voters, saying they had been endorsed by Planned Parenthood and the Sierra Club. Neither organization has endorsed or even interviewed candidates yet in this race.

But these tricks won’t work. Anthony has been standing up to tricks like this all his life. That’s why he’s been endorsed by organized labor and leads all candidates in fundraising. Help us keep our campaign moving toward a good primary result by considering volunteering, endorsing or financially contributing. We need to have the resources to get our message out, despite all these ghoulish tactics.
