Hi John, Tim Walz here, Governor of Minnesota. One thing I always say is don’t fear the future, we create the future. That is why electing Democrats up and down the ballot, from governorships all the way up to the White House, is critical.

The best way to make that happen? To constantly put our best foot forward using strategy informed by our key supporters – folks like you, John. John, I am going to give it to you straight. Republicans are more motivated than ever to retake power and drag us backward.

They are banning books, attacking the LGBTQ+ community, and championing atrocious 6-week abortion bans. Our nation cannot succumb to their extremist Republican agenda – they will destroy not only our core institutions but our democracy itself.

Fortunately, Democratic Governors continue to be brick walls in their states, thwarting extremist agendas and vetoing dangerous pieces of legislation – all to protect and expand your rights.

In Minnesota, we codified abortion rights into state law, made school meals free, banned the harmful practice of conversion “therapy,” enacted common sense gun reforms, and put our state on the path to 100% clean energy. We haven’t let a moment go to waste, and I am not alone.

My fellow Democratic Governors across the country – from Michigan to Pennsylvania, California to Wisconsin, along with so many others – are getting things done. We are fighting back against Republican extremists and protecting our blue firewall.

But that work cannot continue without your support. It helps us hold the line in just a few weeks, in 2024, and beyond. That begins by making your voice heard today.
