Dear Friend,
I’m writing to you from the Dominican Republic. Moms here — and everywhere — have big dreams for their kids. But in the Dominican Republic where I work, giving birth can be a death sentence. So you can imagine how worried Rilaine was when she discovered she was pregnant, knowing that the nearest hospital was too far away to provide prenatal care or help deliver her baby.
Every woman and child has a right to a healthy life. Sadly, we still lose an estimated 800 women to pregnancy and childbirth every single day. That’s why I’m asking you personally to please make the most generous gift you can today.
Rilaine’s worries turned to relief with Project HOPE’s help when our team was able to refer her to a nearby pediatric center we support. Now trained health care workers monitor her baby’s growth and development. I feel such a sense of pride providing these lifesaving services through Project HOPE.
The donation you make right now can power Project HOPE’s lifesaving mission — here in my country and across the entire world.
