In just four short years, we've accomplished so much together in Loudoun County. When I was elected as the first woman and the first Democrat in two decades to serve as the Commonwealth's Attorney, I knew our mission was to build a more equitable, just, and compassionate criminal justice system for all. And, together, we've made incredible strides.
Here's just a few of the things that we've achieved:
- Prioritized the prosecution of violent crimes and protected victims/survivors
- Secured $330,000 in federal grant money to expand education and prevention of sexual assault
- Improved existing diversion programs
- Launched a groundbreaking program for justice-involved veterans, helping residents facing homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health challenges
But, my opponent and the MAGA Republican extremists are determined to roll back our progress. They threaten to undo the critical work we've done to make our community safer and more just. My opponent refuses to commit to upholding red flag laws, leaving individuals in crisis vulnerable to gun violence. Worse yet, he poses a danger to women in our community, with support from extreme anti-abortion donors. Now, with just three days left until our last filing report before Election Day, we need your support more than ever.
