Interpretive Center trail and restroom to be closed Oct. 25-27
Scope & Impact: The trail and restroom at the Interpretive Center will be closed for maintenance. Expect noise from demolition and traffic from trucks as deck boards near the restroom are replaced. The nearest available restrooms during this time will be at Marathon Park.
Where: The entrance area of the Interpretive Center between the kiosk and restroom. The center is located at 2600 Deschutes Parkway, Olympia.
When: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Wednesday, Oct. 25 to Friday, Oct. 27
Why: Deck boards have become compromised due to natural exposure to the elements.
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is performing this work.
