As LaRose stumbles and Moreno’s donor support declines, Matt Dolan continues to expand his cash on hand lead in the GOP primary.

• Matt Dolan maintained his strong fundraising momentum in the 2024 Republican Primary race in the most recent filing period, leading his next closest opponent by $1.7 million in cash on hand and $2.2 million in primary money.
  
  
• LaRose’s significant fundraising struggles earned state and national headlines questioning his ability to run a well-resourced campaign.

Matt Dolan rallies with state GOP leaders in opposition to Issue 1.

• The Dolan campaign recently took part in the March for Life in Columbus.
  
  
• Matt joined Governor DeWine, Ohio Republican Party Chairman Alex Triantifilou and other state GOP leaders at a rally to urge all Ohioans to vote early and VOTE NO on Issue 1.
  
  
• Matt has worked to advance pro-life legislation during his time in Columbus, co-sponsoring and voting for more than a dozen pro-life bills. The abortion rate in Ohio has declined by 37 percent since Matt was first elected to the state legislature.
  
  
• “Issue 1 would codify late-term abortion and even partial-birth abortion into state law,” Dolan said. “It simply goes too far. It’s too extreme for Ohio. I urge all Ohioans to VOTE NO on Issue 1.”

• During the Medina GOP Candidate Forum, Bernie Moreno said that “Israel doesn’t need America’s help to defeat Hamas.” Moreno also said America should not provide any further funding or aid support to Israel.
  
  
• Matt Dolan vehemently disagreed with this far-left perspective that would signal retreat in support of our strongest ally in the Middle East. Dolan said, “America must have Israel’s back with weapons, aid and humanitarian assistance to defeat Hamas and Iran’s terrorist proxies.”

• In a head-to-head matchup, Matt Dolan is leading Sherrod Brown 38% - 36%, according to an Emerson College poll released October 10.
  
  
• Dolan’s two-point lead over Brown is the largest among any candidate running in the Republican primary field.
  
  
• As The Hill reported, the Ohio US Senate race will be one of the most important races in 2024 for determining which party controls the Senate, further highlighting the critical importance of Republican voters nominating a candidate best suited to beat Brown.
  
  
• Furthermore, in an editorial this week, the Toledo Blade emphasized Matt Dolan’s electability, praising him for being the only Republican candidate with realistic, policy-based solutions when it comes to securing America’s southern border.
