John, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham declared a public health “emergency” earlier this year and suspended the Second Amendment in her state’s largest county.
This blatant abuse of the state’s public health regime should chill every freedom-loving American to his or her core. If it can happen in New Mexico, it can happen in any blue state or even at the federal level.
That’s why Mike is co-sponsoring the Protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms Act to bar the federal government from using public health “emergencies” to infringe on our Second Amendment freedoms.
