John: I’m volunteering for the mission…just like I did for over 40 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. I proudly lead some of our nation’s bravest men and women, and now I’m volunteering to lead the U.S. House of Representatives as Speaker. It was my never my plan to run, but I cannot sit by idly and watch our nation suffer from infighting and partisan bickering. Just like all Marines are taught, I solve problems by improvising, adapting, and overcoming. I’m doing the same now by stepping up to steady the ship and to keep our nation moving forward. Since I entered Congress in 2017, I’ve relied upon my Marine Corps experiences to build consensus and pass legislation that will improve the lives of Americans. My record proves that my only allegiance is to the red, white, and blue. As Speaker, I will continue to emphasize fidelity to the Constitution above personal gain so we can succeed in our mission to:
Congress cannot be a rubber stamp for the Biden Administration or special interests; it must SERVE THE PEOPLE. We must get back to work and show this nation how the GOP can solve the problems facing all Americans. As a father and grandfather to 10 beautiful children, I believe the next generation deserves better than the infighting and partisan bickering that embodies our government. It won’t be easy, but I’m a Marine, so “easy” is not in my vocabulary. Serving our nation is my lifelong calling, and I am once again volunteering for the hard mission in our nation’s time of need. I have stood proudly with Jim Jordan but as some would prefer to have the GOP mired in infighting, I am stepping up to ensure the GOP continues to provide our great nation with conservative leadership that can reverse the damage caused by the Biden agenda.
