When Covid hit, a lot of people looked for someone to blame. And a lot of them targeted Asians, in particular Asian women.
Attacks on Asian American and Pacific Islander women surged during the pandemic, with three out of
four AAPI women personally experiencing racism or discrimination.
Three out of four. Let that sink in. And this: while Covid has ebbed, the hate has not. In many places, it is
on the way to normalization. We need to stop it. We, all of us, need to stand with AAPI women.
