The Organic Livestock & Poultry Standards rule (OLPS) would codify federal animal welfare standards in organic agriculture to ensure the humane treatment of livestock. But Big Ag succeeded in getting the rule quashed in 2017 and has been skirting past organic animal welfare regulations that would ensure that animals have access to fresh air, sunlight, enough space to move around, and are free from unnecessary physical alterations.

Fortunately, the USDA approved the reinstatement of the rule last year. Here’s the problem though, Friend: It hasn’t been enacted yet.

Every moment that goes by without the OLPS rule could mean another defenseless farm animal enduring abuse. Will you do something right now to protect ALL organic farm animals and the organic farm industry from Big Ag’s corporate greed?
