Mary was born in Alaska, started fishing commercially when she was just six years old, served her community as a state legislator for 10 years, and became the first Alaska Native to ever get elected to Congress.
I love the way she describes her agenda: “Pro-Fish, Pro-Family, and Pro-Freedom.” That’s more than a slogan. She has deep expertise advocating for fishing policies that ensure resilient food systems. She supports good-paying infrastructure jobs and affordable housing to make it easier for families to make ends meet. And she stands for freedom, including the right to an abortion.
So let’s do everything we can to make sure she can keep up the fight. Grassroots supporters helped carry her to victory in 2022 and are poised to make all the difference in 2024, which is why I have to ask:
If it makes sense for you right now, can you split a contribution of any amount between me and Mary Peltola? We won’t take back the House if we don’t protect front-line Democratic members like Mary.
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
